30th meeting of the NetBackup user group in Neckarsulm on June 04th & 05th
30th (!) NetBackup User Group Meeting on June 4th and 5th, 2025
This was - as always in spring - a great experience for all participants. Thank you so much Pascal for yor invitation and your excellent organisation.
The absolute highlights for us, in addition to networking and spending time together, were:
- a visit to the Schwarz Digits Cyber Defense Center – especially after the acquisition of the Israeli security specialist XM Cyber, many threads of security architecture converge here, with not only the German business elite and high-level politicians lining up for an on-site appointment … (we were happy to be, too).
- with Walter Angerer, Director of Worldwide Product Development for all backup solutions at Cohesity|Veritas, we had THE expertise regarding the roadmap and planning not only for NetBackup but also the manufacturer's future development at our table/in the room for an entire day.
- Isabell Rauchenecker introduced herself as the new Senior Regional Director – a warm welcome!
- and of course, we took a look at the current product version and discussed many features, clarified questions, and so on…
