Meeting of the NetBackup user group in Frankfurt (hybrid)
Cold and rainy outside, but warm and cozy inside - we met again in a small group at the airport in Frankfurt and opened our hybrid meeting to everyone who wanted to join us online.
Together we received the latest information in various lectures and discussions: about the merger between Cohesity & Veritas, about the innovations in NetBackup (v10.5), the extended functions of Alta View with a live demo of "Recovery Orchestration" and individual ones Features such as setting up MSDP volume groups. Highlights were certainly the lectures on NetBackup for Kubernetes and by Dominik on the measures taken by a KRITIS company against data loss and ransomware.
We can all hardly wait for the next meeting in spring - then again for 2 days and only in person (probably/hopefully in Munich, the date will be fixed shortly).
